"Paysage"

 

Two landscape paintings were the inspiration for 24SUMMER.One is Paysage Italien (Italian Landscape) by French painter Odilon Redon (1840 - 1916). The other is Fog over a Fish Pond (1929) by Slovakian artist Zoltan Palugyay (1898 - 1935).I was impressed by the beautifully colored landscapes in both paintings.Odilon Redon's landscape is the orange of the Italian seaside at dusk, the blue of the sky and sea, and the brown of the soil.Zolo Palugyay's landscapes, by contrast, are the cold colors of the morning, with mountains and lakeside scenery. Ivory and saxophone in the sky, blue / purple in the mountains and green in the trees.The collection will be a collection of items based on these two contrasting landscape paintings by two different artists and incorporated into fabrics and designs.

24SUMMERのインスピレーション源になったのは2枚の風景画絵でした。

1枚は、フランスの画家Odilon Redon / オディロン・ルドン(1840 - 1916) のPaysage Italien(イタリアの風景)と、もう1枚は、スロバキアの画家 Zolo Palugyay / ゾルタン・パルガイ (1898 - 1935)のFog over a Fish Pond (1929 )という作品です。2枚ともとても色彩の綺麗な風景画が印象に残りました。Odilon Redonの風景画は、夕暮れのイタリアの海辺のオレンジと空と海のブルーと土のブラウン 。Zolo Palugyayの風景画は、対照的に朝方の寒色で、山と湖畔の風景。空のアイボリーやサックス 、山のブルー / パープル、木のグリーン。この2枚の作家の対照的な風景画をもとに、この風景の街で着用したいと思うような、生地やデザインに落とし込んだ初のリゾートコレクションになります。
