YOKE is inspired by the surrealist master Man Ray, whose worlds are captured through his lens, moments created by the light and shadow of rayographs and solarisations.
Man Ray's work transcends conventional wisdom and evokes the beauty that lies dormant in the everyday. His boldness, playfulness and dreamlike sensibility have given YOKE a new perspective.
In this collection, Man Ray's view of the world is expressed in elements of clothing, such as the discomfort of combining surrealist reality and fiction, the shadowy expression of rayographs (photograms), and the solarisation technique of inverting black and white portions of photographs when they are developed.
YOKE が今回インスピレーションを求めたのは、シュルレアリスムの巨匠、Man Ray。彼のレンズを通して切り取られ た世界、レイヨグラフやソラリゼーションの光と影が作り出す瞬間。現実と虚構が入り混じった神秘的なイメージや、 思わぬモチーフの組み合わせなどから生まれるシュルレアリスムのオブジェ作品などからインスピレーションを得まし た。Man Ray の作品は、既存の常識を超え、日常の中に眠る異質な美を呼び覚まします。その大胆さ、遊び心、そし て夢幻的な感性は、YOKE に新しい視座を提供してくれました。今回のコレクションでは、シュルレアリスムの現実と 虚構を組み合わせた違和感や、レイヨグラフ（フォトグラム）の影絵のような表現、写真の現像時に白黒部分を反転さ せるソラリゼーションの技法など、洋服の要素にMan Ray の世界観を表現しました。
